Types of yoga
  • Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and physically demanding style of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures, synchronized with breath and movement. Developed by K. Pattabhi Jois, this traditional form of yoga consists of a set series of poses divided into primary, intermediate, and advanced series. The practice places emphasis on vinyasa, a flowing and continuous sequence of poses, and incorporates elements such as breath control (pranayama) and gaze points (drishti). Ashtanga Yoga aims to build strength, flexibility, and mental focus while fostering a sense of inner peace and purification.

  • Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that emphasizes physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation. The practice is designed to promote physical strength, flexibility, and balance while fostering mental clarity and relaxation. Hatha yoga is often considered a foundational and gentle style, making it accessible to practitioners of various fitness levels. The word “hatha” itself is a combination of “ha,” representing the sun, and “tha,” representing the moon, symbolizing the balance between opposing forces. Overall, hatha yoga aims to create harmony between the body and mind through the integration of physical postures and breath control.
  • Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that emphasizes the seamless flow of movement and breath. In Vinyasa, a series of yoga poses are linked together in a continuous, smooth sequence, synchronized with mindful inhalations and exhalations. The transitions between poses are often as significant as the poses themselves, creating a fluid and rhythmic practice. Vinyasa yoga is known for its creative and varied sequences, allowing practitioners to experience a harmonious and meditative union of breath and movement while building strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.

  • Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced & meditative style of yoga where poses are held for an extended period, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes, or even longer. The practice targets the deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin yoga focuses on relaxation and emphasizes stillness in each pose, allowing practitioners to release tension and access deeper layers of the body, and of the soul. It often involves seated or lying down postures and is designed to complement more active forms of exercise and promote a sense of balance and mindfulness.

Our classes
  • Ashtanga Inspired Yoga

In a dynamic flow, you practice a modified set sequence of postures with great mindfulness. You release toxins with the heat of your body and improve your flexibility. You feel revitalized and focused. I propose variations to adapt to your own body.

  • Hatha

Each class begins with a time of anchoring and movements to prepare for postural practice. The session is gentle and suitable for beginners. It emphasizes awareness of the movement and balance between strength and gentleness. The practice ends with a relaxation/meditation.

  • Mindful Flow

Mindful Flow is a gentle evening class designed to help you slow down at the end of day and shift into a state of calm focus. Through slow, intentional movement and breath-led transitions, we release tension from the body and quiet mental noise. Each class includes simple mobility work, fluid sequences, and guided mindfulness practices to support nervous system regulation and embodied awareness. We explore accessible meditation techniques that help you feel more present, steady, and at ease.

  • Morning Flow

The Morning Flow Yoga class is an energizing practice designed to awaken your body and mind. This dynamic session will guide you through a seamless sequence of poses that invigorate your muscles and enhance flexibility. Ideal for those looking to start their day with a burst of energy and clarity, this class combines movement and breath to set a positive tone for the hours ahead. Perfect for all levels, it leaves you feeling refreshed, balanced, and ready to take on the day.

  • Power Vinyasa

Power Vinyasa is a dynamic Vinyasa class with a focus on synchronised breath-to-movement to deliver a more “athletic and physical” practice. The focus is on the development of strength by building upon a sequenced flow with attention to alignment and form.

  • Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow and static form of yoga, gentle and meditative, based on long poses (mainly floor-based). The goal is here to enter oneself, reconnecting with our centre and with the feelings and sensations of the body; also “liberating” what may seem blocked to us, or stagnant. In yin, we will rather stretch (each pose focusing on a particular segment of the body), and aim for the deep connective tissues, the fascia. The class often starts with a short chakra meditation.

  • Pelvis in Motion

Pelvis in motion is an invitation for participants to explore somatic movements through shaking, waving and sliding. To connect with the creation center from the pelvis to the chest passing through the spine. And to express what the instinct reveals with depth and softness.

  • Vinyasa

With a variable rhythm, you are deeply connected to your body sensations. You experience dynamic movements in an available body. You feel free and creative. I propose a progressive sequence focused on twists, balance & chest opening with peak postures.

  • Yoga for Strength & Softness

In this Hatha and Vinyasa based class, we will explore the powerful relationship between strength and softness through Yoga. We all have our “strong points”, be it physically or mentally, be it because of our character or certain sports we practise. Here, we will challenge ourselves to mindfully explore our limits. To have fun doing so. To use props and variations to make the practice our own. To always listen to our breath as the ultimate guide.

  • Asana Lab

The Asana Lab course is perfect for beginners and experienced practitioners seeking to refresh their knowledge. You’ll explore foundational asanas, pranayama, and meditation, the essentials of any yoga practice. The course also offers an overview of different yoga styles, helping you find the one that suits you best.

  • Yoga for Surfers (&everyone)
